Friday Word

As per Mona, the Friday word is "Trip". I took the easy way out and posted some more pics from my Denmark/Sweden trip in a slide show below. As you can tell, I love trains.
I may have time to do a poem later, am not sure though. Enjoy your weekend folks!

Thank you for putting a slideshow together for us Sanjay,it was fun to watch. Thanks to the posts and pictures from your trip I am now well and truly bitten by the travel bug, I hope our family can go somewhere this summer...we haven't made any plans yet, but it's not too late to start.

Those are great pics! I really like the brightly painted buildings lining the waterway. The inspire me to set up the water colors.

My favorite is the picture taken through the window with rain drops on it. That is lovely. It gives me a wistful feeling.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing . Unlike you, I'm not much of a train fan, however, what does /used to fascinate me about them was their sound. I still remember the repetitive rumble ramble of train chugs and the stray whistle that used to pierce the night skies and often awaken me during my childhood.

hmm .. who is mona? I love trains too but not the ones that we have here in the U.S. They are noisy, shaky and worst, they are always LATE. The trains you show in the picture are cool, many of them bullet trains. You'd like this video, I am sure.
